Phil's sessions are always interesting, challenging and more importantly great fun. His classes are a good mix of technique that cover body and arm positioning to catch the water and breathing. These are followed with interesting and challenging cardio drills set to put in practice the techniques acquired.
Phil is an enthusiastic and patient coach, sharing his passion for swimming. He aims to ensure that swimmers improve their effectiveness in the water by coaching techniques which reduce strain on the body and build strength. Sessions are mixed and varied, covering drills for stroke technique as well as more energetic sessions to increase fitness and stamina. Personal feedback is delivered constructively by Phil, enabling and encouraging swimmers to continually progress.
